I have always been drawn to the water, and there is something about being around the ocean that brings me a sense of calm even in the most chaotic of times.

I spent some time on the Oregon coast with my family soaking up the sunshine, gorgeous scenery, and giving myself some time to heal. This was our last night on the coast and I can still remember this moment and really realizing I was finally starting to feel myself again.

Of Towers at Twilight

Watching the moon set as it takes the tide with it. The moon and the ocean represent those things in life that are fluid, those that ebb and flow. 

As someone who loves to capture the stars, the moon used to be my enemy, washing out the night sky. I've been learning to appreciate the moon, it's beauty and the impact it has on our lives. Bonus when you can capture the Milky Way at the same time.

This work of art presents a fascinating vision of the human inner universe. 

The contrast between the starry night sky and the waning moon on one side, and the daytime sky with the sun on the other, represents the duality of the human experience and the desire for connection with the outside world.

The window at the center of the artwork serves as a bridge between these two worlds and symbolizes the possibility of communicating and understanding the other. 

The two halves of the stylized face, which break down into complex golden wires converging towards the window, represent empathy and synchrony in human communication through the senses.

No one knows exactly where they came from or what they were once called. Some scientists speculate they came from Cygnus A, a galaxy that maintains one of the strongest radio sources in the sky.  As of this writing, missions are being planned to capture glimpses of their homeworld and the technology that brought them here.

Once kept as the world’s greatest secret, the Invaiders have decided to make themselves known to all. As they continue to assimilate into society, we now see the influence they have brought to human fashion culture and we look forward to the new styles they will share with our world.
